Fashion’s Night Out…Curvy Style

Fashion’s Night Out 2010 is going to be even greater than ever!

The annual one night only event sponsored by Vogue, NYC and the CFDA to name a few has a great deal to offer–especially to the curvy community!

Here are just a few of the curvy-licious events on tap:

The awesome ladies of Madison Plus are teaming up with Lord & Taylor to give a lucky winner some style! From MP:

“The MP Style Contest!

Do you feel you have great style?  Or does your look need a fall fashion makeover? Whether if you are a style maven or a fashionista-in-training, Madison Plus is here to help!

We are partnering with Lord & Taylor on Fashion’s Night Out for a special Style Contest. After reviewing all entries, we will pick 3 finalists to be styled by the MP team. The Fashion’s Night Out audience will then vote on each person’s new look and the winner will receive the head-to-toe outfit from Lord & Taylor! All finalists will receive their own MP Style Spotlight on as well as recognition on our official Fan page and Twitter!”

Mega retailer Lane Bryant is getting in on the action giving customers the chance to rub elbows with supermodels Lizzie Miller and Ashley Graham:

Both ladies are scheduled to appear at the 34th street NYC flagship location of Lane Bryant on FNO!

Not in NYC? Don’t fret! Lane Bryant in Los Angeles is also getting in on the FNO action with an appearance of the funny and beautiful Kim Coles on FNO!

Re/Dress NY is celebrating FNO by hosting an in-store fashion show to raise awareness about the under served plus community:

“Re/Dress NY, a premiere plus size vintage & resale clothing boutique, is excited to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out… We want to tell the designers if they want to save retail, they can do it by serving a neglected customer, the Plus Size Woman,” said Re/Dress NYC owner Deb Malkin.  Throughout the night guests will have the opportunity to join Re/Dress NYC’s Dress My Size campaign.  “We’re going to help curvy women speak collectively as a force and ask their favorite designers to make clothing in their size,” said Malkin. The evening will also include a collection presentation from Canadian designer Lotis Clothing, the official celebration brand for the event.”
