The Curvy Colombian

Posted in Entertainment, Fashion, Hollywood, Pop Culture on February 23, 2011 by miaamber

Actress and, “Modern Family” breakout star, Sophia Vergara stopped by, “The Talk” to chat with the ladies about life in the curvy lane!

Among other topics on her life, Vergara let’s us in on how difficult it was for her to get red carpet ready upon her arrival in Hollywood and how she chose to let her curves reign.

I’ve been a fan of hers for a while now and I’m happy that she’s finally geting the recognition she deserves.

Madison Star

Celebrity Stylist Misa Hylton debuted her collection of plus sized clothes named for her daughter, Madison Star during this past NBA All-Star Weekend.

I couldn’t find any pricing or sizing info on the Madison Star site but the always on top of things folks over at YBF have the first known photo of the line:

Watching the festivities of NBA All-Star Weekend these past couple of days has me yearning to see something I would deem spectacular… a dress-off between three men who take the art of getting dressed to entirely new heights:

NBA Legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier

NBA Legend Darryl Dawkins

and TNT Analyst Craig Sager

While we’re on the topic, I’d pay top dollar to see what the iconic and fashionable Vogue Editor at Large and still #1 in my heart, Andre Leon Talley would do with the three above icons in a style-out.

Please someone hear my plea and make it happen.

Soooo… word on the street is talk show host Wendy Williams may be joining the next season of, “Dancing With the Stars.”

If Wendy really does end up in the cast I may be forced to watch my first episode (and possibly first season) of, “Dancing With the Stars.”

I don’t usually watch American Idol past the audition phase and into, “Hollywood Week” but last night I found myself watching, “AI” and mesmerized by one performance in particular.

Jacob Lusk made me stand up in front of my TV to watch his rendition of, “God Bless the Child.”

Do you know how difficult it is as a performer to leave it all on the stage like that?  I can’t wait to see more of him.

Do you have an, “Idol” favorite yet?
